On July 13,2010 Mr. Paul Odrobina,V. President, PNA & Dist.XV Comissioners (Mrs. M Wozniak & Mr. G. Gustas) witnessed the dedication of the Plock Friendship Garden in Fort Wayne, IN. This ceromony was made possible by donations from various civic groups, industry, friends and PNA Lodge #3149 Fort Wayne. These organizations are responsible for the Sister City program which sponsors student exchanges with the city of
ReplyDeletePlock, Polond.
This cultural exchange program has been in effect for 9 years. The studends that participated in this exchange are a dance group composed of 22 members and a 9 peace orchestra.
In the evening this contingent of Polish students performed an outstanding number of dances accompanied by their musical group. I've seen other Polish dance groups and think this young group of talented individuals gave an exceptional performance.
This Polish ensemble from Plock, Poland will return next year and suggest that anyone reading this blob make plans to visit Fort Wayne to see them.
